The MI-LIFE Curriculum is aligned to standards from three resources: The Michigan School Improvement Framework, the Council of School State Officers ISLLC (Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium) school leadership standards and the Microsoft Education Competencies describing the full range of characteristics needed to help a school district achieve its organizational goals and vision. Public Act 0335 passed by the Michigan Legislature in August 2006 and signed by the Governor provides a voluntary certification/endorsement/enhancement process for Michigan Administrators.
